Create or sign in to your Boxy account, then open Worlds to compare the public worlds hosted by the current server before you join.
Current hosted worlds include Perlin Hills, Valleys, Wet Valleys, Braids, Rainwoods, Badlands, Dry Steps, Ridges, Mountain Highlands, Valley Highlands, and Carpathian Wilds. They share the default survival systems, but their terrain, rivers, caves, ruins, and resource exposure feel different.
After you enter a world, create a character and let the spawn area load before sprinting away. Public worlds use spawn roads, protected towns, and shared routes to make the first few minutes safer, so check the local rules before building near paths or other players.
Your first survival loop is simple: gather tree trunks, craft wood planks, turn planks into sticks, and make a wooden pickaxe before digging stone or ore. Stone and ores require a pickaxe, and better materials improve durability and speed.
Keep food on your hotbar and watch the HUD. HP is health, EP supports exertion, MP fuels spells, and BP appears when breath matters. If you die, you return to spawn, and the death notice reports the most recent damage source.
Use the character menu to track quests, stats, equipment, achievements, cosmetic unlocks, and active objectives. Starter questmasters teach harvesting, planting, mining, crafting, timed objectives, combat, and trail building while awarding quest points and useful supplies.
Build a small camp before you range far: chest, furnace, torches, food, and a visible route home. Use /sethome when the world allows it, and remember that each world has a home limit.
